FUELING
LASTING
CHANGE
Ending generational poverty begins with a Whole Family Approach. We work with the entire family unit – grandparent, parent, and child, and help them receive the tools they need allowing them to set their own goals and achieve long-term change and stability. By addressing the root causes that perpetuate poverty such as poor education, employment readiness, and systemic racism we are able to empower people to find their way out of poverty and into vibrant communities. Our aim is to end poverty in three generations.
HOW WE’RE EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES
ADVOCACY AND SOCIAL JUSTICE
We fight to eradicate the root causes of poverty, advocating for equality in healthcare, racial justice, education and employment in Orange County and Southern California.
EDUCATION & YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
We help young people gain the knowledge and confidence to shape their own futures through advocacy, education, health, job training and more.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTERS
We focus on a two-generational Whole Family Approach that simultaneously integrates child development, workforce development and family development. In this way we are able to address the root inequities that cause and perpetuate poverty to accomplish lasting change.
FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT
Through a variety of programs, we teach responsible money management, banking, budgeting and credit habits. We also provide free tax preparation.
HEALTHY HOMES
We assist and educate qualified low-income families and individuals in weatherizing their homes to save energy and money.

HEALTHY MARRIAGES & FAMILIES
We empower couples to learn positive communication skills, which help to build healthy families and communities. Through employment training, father involvement and more we are able to improve overall well-being for low-income parents and children in the OC.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
We prepare adults and young people for the workforce through time management, resume building, interview skills and job search assistance.
I came to this program as a last resource to save my marriage. This program taught me to learn to see the wonderful man our heavenly father gave me as a spouse.”
